What a day at work. Jeesh. It's been busy at least, which is great for the shop. We need days like this in the Summer. Every summer our hours here are reduced and our normal customer base is cut into less than half of the rest of the year, normally. I hope this keeps up. Kristen and I pick up Geronimo (our new Black and Tan Pomeranian) on Wednesday.

In the personal life of Z. Daniel And His Amazing Friends.

No one likes being lied to, even more so when it's directly to their face. After months of denying to myself that a friend was part of this leech-like group of hate that caused me no end of problems a few months back, he finally admitted it to me. It really hurts to be judged by your friends and peers over things that simply didn't happen, or things that they've manifested in their heads about you... or that are so far in the distant past that they should be forgotten. And a combination of all those things is simply right out.

But alas, people are like vampires in the world of darkness games. They need lies to keep them going sometimes, not just food and water. And what's worse, I'm not that angry. I've got so many health issues and other antagonists to fry right now that I simply lack the willpower to fight it. My anger's just pity now. My spite is just angst. If I give into it, I'm no better then them. And I am, in fact... better. Arrogance? No, Honesty. I won't let it get to me. Because it does not matter what anyone thinks of me in the long run of life. All that matters is how I turn out in the end and the people who stand by me through it all.

The show was loads of fun. It was my first night on security. Sure there was some lows and luls, but the quality of personnel definitely made up for it.


And now... I give you one of the few things that help calm me down after idiocy strikes at the shop.
