Well the inevitable happened (again), but this time it was more than just a fuel pump, our beloved whale must have had a heart attack from driving 14 hours through the mountains.  It'll cost $13000 to replace the engine, because they don't even make the 6.2 diez engine anymore.  Anyway, needless to say we need a new vehicle to get back to Ontario, as we are currently across the country in Calgary, and still have a shit load of good shows to play.  We're working on a solution right now, so we'll let you know what happens as the situation unfolds, but please, if you would be so good as to say a silent prayer for the sperm whale. She's in a better place now, sniffle *tear

boys... Oh no...not again! This is very upsetting news. Send her to the "best stop to keep going", where the beer flows like wine and the women flock like the salmon of Capistrano... talkin bout a lil place called Erskine's Service centre (?)
Hope you find a mighter, more long distance, reliable mammal or species... perhaps a camel, they trek forever you know?

at the risk of mixing metaphors, I say the Sperm Whale will rise again from the ashes of its blown engine (remember Phoenix) and with a new heart pumping wildly, the SW2 will transport Chasing Mercury back to Ontario, out to the East Coast and all the way back through the West!
