Just a short one for today - forget to mention Furnace last time. Tape is out now like the Hungry Lungs 2-track-demo tape. Both are very specific hardcore at its best. Please check the mainpage for further info! Do not got any copies here anymore cause they are nearly shipped already. Just ask the bands for last copies and try to grap your shitty one. Keep my fingers crossed for that, ha ha!
The next release will be Fucking Werewolf Asso - some kinky Nintendo-core from Sweden. Lets see how thinks will develop next time. Apart from tapes I try to set up one last show for 2k9 here in Leipzig for Julith Krishun. Still in search for a good venue. If you think we can arrange this small chaoscore-happening in your dining room - please let me know! Still looking for the best spot in town, ha ha! Party should start around december, the 28th...

Like promised - 2 months recreation and now I am gonna start again with some new ideas and fresh bands in the bag pack, ha ha!
So today, I am really happy to announce new everybodies darling called Objects from Protugal. A lot of well known faces we can discover in here. This new band from Lisboa features members of Adorno, Suchi Rukaru and I had plans. So keep an eye on their first demo if you like solid and pissed-off hardcore without though guy shit in the back! Just diy and punk, like it should be. Mainstream-free!
Apart from that some thinks changed. Lena wanna travel the whole world (and escape winter times in Fucking Germany) and is not ready to take part with her label "Sniffing Coccoina Tapes" in our split label tape which was planned actually in the beginning of this year. So I will release Deers! from Saramento on my own as a discography tape with partly unreleased stuff. Should be out this year as well (happy!). So this will be next, but first concentrate on Furnace and Hungry Lungs, which will follow in this month as well, hope so.
Last bust not least - please, if sb. reads these lines whose got some contact to MANS. (www.myspace.com/mansisalive), tell it to me as well! Wanna get their fantastic screams banned to cassettes made in Leipzig, ha ha! Thanks...

Goood shit is comming up - from the beginnig of next weeks gonna be on tour through Poland and France. This will be my quest till octobre. That means in this time no releases so far - have to control the fever, ha ha! But do not be sad. Gonna start in autum again. And maybe there will be even some surprise in the end. Two months without those magic magnetic shitties even seems to me like an eternal story. So lets see and getting ourselves surprised. In the meantime, check the "Upcomming" section and stay curious - super stuff gonna be out soon!
And now enjoy summertime. Have to test my new tent out there on the european countrysides, ha ha!

Hi dudes out there - next official release in line: wonderful Ding Dong Dead stuff on tape. Sad but true, my ammount of 10 personal copies is gone already. But dont be shy to ask Johannes and friends from DDD for it! There are still 50 small shitties without parents, ha ha! Go and get your copy - good material!
Apart from that - there are some new friends in the boat next time - beware and watch out for the 2-track-demo of Hungry Lungs from Plauen. Female-fronted super-hc-trash with a lot of miles per hour! Need some protection glasses next time, ha ha!
Last but not least, try to arrange it. Gonna be the 3rd Gafas del Rigor Cassettes concert next tuesday here in Leipzig...

Just in that moment the last 2 copies getting ready. No recorings necessary anymore - GDR008 The Pookie Syndrome is up to be out from now on! 50 copies were made. This time with some small autograph card included - maybe grap your signed copy directly from the band next time, if you are a fan maaaan and like this kind of kinky stuff, ha ha!
A lot of people consider, that I should be addicted to tapes now - and probably they are right. I really love to release as fast as possible - without missing the quality of course! Tapes become the best part in my life, so far. Maybe they are only kind of a big surrogate for something which should be more improtant in life! But do not care. Thanks to all of you out there for supporting me and this shitty label. It means really much to me. Had the chance to meet damn amazing and passionate people within the last 6-7 months scince the foundation of Gafas del Rigor Cassettes! Really big thank-you! Hope the releases are as good as always. Wanna keep up the love and handmade spirit! So feel free to give my your feedback/critics if you like. That would be the best result of my work I could get. And get in touch/involved! I will appreciate it! Get active...
In the end some more inside-views now of GDR all-day-shit! The Hammers special tape for CMR Fest was loved very much - both, from the band and the crowd @ the show. Donno, but it seemed to be sold out already, ha ha! Thanks for this. Apart from that, there will be the new Ding Dong Dead EP out soon, think and hope in the end of this month! With artwork made by Claire Werk. Limited to 60 copies and exclusively for their tour through England.
And beyond (*tadaaaa!*) I am really prowd to announce sort of cooperation with the Objects. A new band proejct from Protugal feat. members of bands like Adrono, Suchi Rukara and I had plans (on tour now - support them!). This will kick as for sure, so happy to grab these boys playing their rough hc tunes!
Ouh, I nearly forgot! Last but not least - please check out the 2 cute boys from from Mukra and their label I love Maybach Rec.. I saw them @ BRN Dresden this year and we will cooperate next time as well. Back to my cradle, located in Thuringia, ha ha! Good and catchy punk rock for and from the streets.

Suckinim Baenaim / Achzavoth All Israelian Split compilation is now ready to enter your cassette deck - 100 copies made of this passionate cooperation between 2 stunning bands from Tel Aviv - got 15 copies here for my personal use and they are nearly sold! Those goddamn|n|fast tape dudes out there! Thanks for your interest and support - I really enjoy this! Next time they will be available from Ehud @ Suckinim Baenaim (Super Fun Time Distro), too! Or be on one of their shows - summer tour starts in the end of July! Be good and support them...

On Wednesday I organized my first Gafas del Rigor Cassettes show here in Leipzig @ the wonderful Atari club. Myabe somebody heard about it before, ha ha! Was a really good one for me - 2 bands from Milano called Forest Yell and Cusack (with members of Scena, hell-yeah!) were my guests. Even if the city was lazy and only 13 people come to see|n|hear my dudes it was one of the best impression I could experience for years, maybe! Thanks to you guys - for having fun with us here! You will be welcome all the time, for sure. Like Mayhem would say: Milano capta est! And Leipzig as well from now on, ha ha!

Have to keep it short this time - cause I am a lazy bone. Here the facts - new name, same weird electro-punk attitude - VS the Helicopter turns to Fucking Werewolf Asso! Keep it in mind - more on tape next time here, ha ha!
Apart from that, Ding Dong Dead are interested in some GDR tapes of their latest tunes / EP - this will be a kind of Speedy Gonzales release - just in time for their tour through England starting in August. So keep your eyes and ears wide open. Theres no time for swimming pool action - just sitting in the basement and listening to GDR tapes aaaall day|n|night long, ha ha!
Besides, yesterday Lena @ Sniffing Coccoina Tapes got the scetches for the Hammers - so next time there will be a big silkscreen action. And apart from that the Israelian slpit and The Pookie Syndrome will be next and hopefully out soon!
Thats enough first! Good luck to everybody. Next time more big news from a room with 15m². I will move on sunday, oh yeah! The cassettes universe spreads its wings...

Just recieved the message from Denis. VS the Helicopter will record new material in july. Afterwards we gonna release that shit on cd and (best think! highscore!) on tape, of course! Working title: Kid! Just letting you know we are doing it again! This electro-blast-monster will come along in summer as well. So come on, buy some tape decks right now. Not only for your bathroom - pimping the environment, dudes!
Releases which come out next here on GDR - Hammers Special Edition tape - just in time for Cry me a River this year! Maybe even within this month or in the beginning of may. Will be available first (and maybe only) on the fest itsself - so preorder now, ha ha! 50 copies will be out only...
Simmultaniously working on the Israelian double split and this Pookie Syndrome tape! No time for school, actually. Lets see who will win the race.

Finally out! The biggest ammount of tapes I ever made till today - 90 copies of Aktion X are ready to take off. No official release of GDR, just for a friend of mine. Its not the style this label wants to support in the future, but I think its forth to have a look as well. Orders via mail to Siggi (aktionx [ät] web [dot] de) are welcome.
Next big think - Furnace and their Doublewalker full lenght on Gafas del Rigor - amaaaaazing, dudes! So stay curious and believe in this here! More to come (maybe some Robert-Adagio830-thing or "I wrote haikus about cannibalism in your yearbook"-shit, would be cool). Lets keep our fingers crossed...

This baby is born - the 3-way split is out today! 40 copies (no more, no less) and you can order it noooow. Hot stuff. Get it here or by the band (Samurai Tod) next time! Ooooor theres even the possibility to grap 1 of 5 goodies at the lovely Bis aufs Messer Recordstore @ Berlin, hell yeah! Feels so good. Todays sunshine can wait - this release got all my preferences. As a special gimmick this time you can collect 3 different cardboard motives included to every single tape! Weird idea dating back to the 90ties, where I bought the special version of Marylin Mansons "Mechanical Animals" where such a shit was included too. Feel addicted to kinky stuff, think so! Sorry, ha ha!
Within the next days another release gonna see the light of birth. Its a songwriter project called Aktion X of a friend of mine. Its no official Gafas del Rigor Cassettes release but it will be pretty cute and adorable as well. 90 copies will be on their way. Hi folks. Fucking awesum march. Today Epidemia came out - limited to 50 copies. With folded flip cover on recycled paper - shut up to all glossy and high-res fuckers out there! Both-sided, printed with some sic scenes of decadance. Still got one private copy left. The rest will go out soon all over the globe, thanks so much to all supporters. You make this shit worth keeping alive! If there are further interests in wholesale or else please contact the band.
This month, still hoping to launch this wonderful 3-way split between Samurai Tod (Germany), Omayra Sanchez (Chile) and Cunning Swine (Malaysia). Would be enourmus. This release comes to you limited to 40 copies only. Including 3 different cardboards inside as special gimmick -trying to collect them all!
Some tunes from an unknown future in the end - planing to publish a label slpit with stunning Lena @ Sniffing Coccoina Tapes till Octobre. Hopefully even great many sooner! For this I could win the amazing Deers! from Sacramanto/Carlifornia. I feel enrapted so much. Check them and get addicted to their screams. So true and honest. Promises kept - Frank Faster Discography (GDR002) out now! This release comes to you with yellow printed booklets and some special tape banderole. Its limited to 50 copies only and you have got the chance to buy kind of "test pressing tape" including white labels - just get in touch and ask for it. Wholesale, trade - whatever you prefer!
Next steps on this road of success - Epidemia tape will be out in the beginnig of March - like the 3-way split with Samurai Tod, Omayra Sanchez and Cunning Swine as well! Just creating the artwork for it. Trying to release as much as possible now. I have got still enough spare time and be filled with power for this intermission, ha ha!
Last but now least best news of the week came from the UK - so I will set up a small "CMR-special" edition for Hammers from Mamcium. Maybe 20 or even 30 copies of their "Year one" will be released. I am really happy to do this for them - so that will be another reason for you to check the fest in the end of June. Lets meet each other there.

A couple of wonderful tunes will be out soon - hope to release Frank Faster "Discography" tape even this, and maybe Epidemia next month. Artwork is ready to go - still recordings and the tickering stuffs still left.
Apart from that The Pookie Syndrome are interested in bringing out their album called "Kaos" @ Gafas del Rigor Cassettes - what an honour and pleasure similarly to work with these dudes from Malmö/Sweden! And afterwards, there will be this project which came up to me yesterday suddenly - Ehud from Suckinim Baenaim wrote several nice messages and we came along to put Achzavoth in the same small boat to release a passionable split with these two bands from Israel within the next months. I really hope to find some sleep now - no time to rest. Lets see what will come out...
