We are in the last 24 hours of having Beaker's Prawn Sorbet hosted on Secret Mixtape.  This British soundcrafter is making very beautiful and subtle melodies from the tiniest sounds imaginable (as is displayed on our Single Of The Week this week.)

Upon posting the track, I received some very nice words from Patrick (the man behind the Beaker!)  He mentioned both his enthusiasm for the project and his happiness in seeing how our Mixtape is reaching out to new artists when many music communities are working harder to be more exclusive (rather than inclusive.)

After nearly 10 years of running Mental Monkey Records, this message and many others that I have received since starting the project has reminded me of the value that our musical gestures really have.  Thanks to all who have supported this project right now.  For the slowpokes out there, you might as well check out the music now while it's free!
