First off, I have had an amazing time on this tour and am having so much fun sharing my music with people in so many different places and meeting such awesome people. This is the second time I've done a Europe tour and there will be more to come. At the moment I'm looking to return in Sept/Oct. All interested promoters can contact me here!
There are way too many people to thank and so many things to remember, but I wanted to point out one thing from each city that was most notable....
Here goes...
Vienna, Austria - Best Food Award I had a great omelette and curry chicken dish! ONRA was all about the Wiener schnitzel but I don't do flour hence no fried veal for me. And what a cute city. Even took a drive to Bratislava, Slovakia to check out Cro-Magnon!
London,UK - Fam,Peeps,Homies Award When I'm in London I feel like I'm in Brooklyn because I know I can go to any event and run into so many folks I know. I also met many for the first time in person after having an internet relationship. It's always great to put a face to a name. And musically London is a kindred spirit to my heart.....up!
Vilnius, Lithuania - Swanky Club Award So I didn't know what to expect going to Vilnius and I must say I was quite impressed. After walking into the city in between some rather large older buildings, I walked down some hidden steps that lead to the Underground Club SATTA. Rather large, cool atmosphere and speakers that bump like crazy!
Dresden, Germany - Lively Crowd Award They were hype, I was hype, and it just went on from there. I've never moved so much and even almost tripped while I was playing because I was jammin so hard. But they were really into it and it was on. Energy level was definitely a 10!
Bristol, UK - Art City Award I was greatful for a few sunny days in Bristol to enjoy walking around a bit. Bristol gets props for a thriving music and art scene. I took lots of pics of beautiful graffiti and felt a great sense of support for all things creative.
Berlin, Germany - My New Favorite City Award I went to Berlin 3 years ago and I must have chosen the worst time ever to go. It was February and there was a cold front from Poland which pretty much meant Berlin was covered in ice. Not a good time to venture around the city. This time around the weather was great and I was totally taken. Great people, cute boutiques, dope record shops and the rent is so unbelievably cheap for any major city I've ever been to. Plus there are so many places to party.
Stockholm, Sweden - Design Award From the video flyer to the set design to the cute bathrooms and hotel room, Stockholm pays amazing detail to visual elements, leaving little to be desired. Eye Candy to the Maximus!
Again, thanks to all the promoters, djs, hosts, listeners, party goers and new friends! Any one that took pics or video please send them my way. Hope to see you all again soon!
