So many people, so few new ideas. So few pleasant surprises. Life? Predictable. People? Disappointing. All people? No. Most people? Certainly. An overwhelming number of people under 30 have all the depth and complexity of a three year old. Most intelligent people over 30 are just as cynical as I am. By the time I hit 30, I might just have to become a nihilist.

I'm shocked to see that you've blogged; it's so unlike you.  I'll agree with you on all points, but at the same time I can't help but see mySELF as somewhat disappointing.  Working on that.  Feel free to toss the occasional backhand; some of us need it.
