I loved that liquor store on Westheimer. They serve your premium liquor drinks in styrofoam cups sealed in plastic wrap. Yummy stuff.

Denton, TX, home of UNT, an hour North of Dallas and just south of the Oklahoma border had both a Beer Barn drive thru and a drive thru Daquiri Shack when I was in college there. (I remember hearing there was an apt. above the beer barn that the owners rented out to tenants.) The whole thing was strange however because although Denton is a college town, it's a very small town in a conservative Bible Belt area. I was always surprised to see drive thru places like these when I never saw them in Dallas, population 2 million.
