"The songs that have been sticking out most this year have all been hugely popular because of their oddities, it's definitely year of the 'odd' - take 'Lyposuct', 'Who's There' and 'Riverside' for example. All with big, crazy, almost out-of-tune synth drops and techy drum loops. Highbloo's latest combines those tech-house drums with the crazy weird synth but then rubs a big load of electro all over it, giving it a personal and signature touch. The influences are clear, the production is super tight and the rising synth line deserves a place in every headline DJ set this year. I'm going to have it on repeat,
definitely a contender for tune of the year "

"HighBloo is a mere 19-year-old guy from Belgium. He has produced music in just one year and see where he already is - well on its way up the ranking ladder. If he continues this style, we can expect to see this guy break through very soon. If we look at his MySpace profile, then Popof, Solo, Renaissance Man, Brodinski and Switch some of his top friends and it is also clear that he has drawn some inspiration from these artists. "

"From the land of one of my favorite artists comes one of my 'new' favorite artists. I was speaking of Goose and I am now speaking of HighBloo from Hainaut, Belgium. I tend to use the word favorite artist alot around here but I try to spit hot fyah whenever I can on these pages and today is no exception. "

"eyyo, Belgium, what’s good? Highbloo is. Another crazy horn tooter, much like Afrojack, SonicC, and the rest of em. And he’s a fresh 19. That is excellent. Props to Kidcity for the find!"

- kid city blog : http://kidcityblog.com/?p=3804 "Lastly, we have 19 year old Belgium producer HighBloo. This kid has amazing talent and seems to not be stopping anytime soon" " 19 year old, Belgium producer, HighBloo, has been gracing this blog with some of the most unique, solid tunes. It’s always a pleasure showcasing the young blood talent "

Finally... saving the best for last here with up and coming producer Highbloo. I came across this dude's myspace yesterday, and via a marvelous stroke of luck (at the same time) he ended up getting in touch with me and lacing a 320 of his killer tune 50cl over to my person. Much respect to this 19 year old producer from Belgium, after only a year of producing tunes, he's managed to come up with this banger. It really captures the whole essence of the electro scene change this year from a jackin' sound to a more ravey techno based sound. Think Renaissance Man, Riva Starr, Jesse Rose, Mowgli and Boy 8-Bit's new Baltic Pine EP. Any record producers out there check out his MySpace and SIGN UP our man... killa tunes "

Dutch lazer pressurr from Belgium's HighBloo. Don't know where all of this bouncy siren and lazer synth stuff is going but I'm just gonna enjoy it while it lasts (and while I can still hear). Note to DJs: please exhibit restraint when playing out these tunes. Yes, it's fun but I don't think anyone should be expected to handle a whole entire set of it. Remember to make very good use of your treble knobs. The following song is entitled "ouchhh !!!" that may or may not be poking fun at how ear-itating and annoying some of this music can be. Check out more great bloo hype over at IRWT favorites Voules Random and Louis Louis blogs.
