Hey Everybody!
Hope you had a GREAT 4th !
Here's some firework's from Pasco County's "SparkleBration!"

The sudden Florida summer rains put the kabosh on my set, as well as the band that was scheduled to play after me last night. The skies opened up on us in the middle of my sound check, and we were scampering like crazy to cover all the musical equipment with tarps and get my saxophones back in their cases!
We were hudled under the cover of the stage while the rain came down in buckets, sheets, and other huge quantities!
Lightening and thunder danced around us also, while we repeated affirmations about being safe!

The storm finally let up after about an hour and a half and we loaded out and off the stage.

Although we were wet and a bit dissapointed, we were thankful that we were safe and sound.

Mother Nature could not put a stop to the great tradition of spectacular fireworks
on the 4th of July though!
Things dried up enough that the sky was soon lit up with all different colors of
"Kaboooooms!"
and
"Kabaaaaaaams!"

They were awesome!

Today's the 5th of July and I am recharging my batteries and looking forward to this week's shows.
