please forget me not, i'm only disappearing for 2 months.   it's going to feel like ages for me, 2 months of 0 live shows is going to make rania a very dry piece of poo.  but there are some exciting things to come so please stick around and keep me in your pocket. 


mark your calendars for JUNE 10th, 2008 - 'Rania's Insania PIANOS, Keys Pleashhh'.  A great venue called Reflectionshhh (Tottenham Court Road) asked me to put out a regular keyboardist night, so all you ivory lovers come on down!

i've handpicked the following artists to take part in this scrumptious event:  david goo, judith haustein, oli wennik, steve bland, june noh and kit richardson.   you'll get something like this....

frank zappa singing from a bee hive with a thousand bees, beth orton gone electro experimental jazz, jeff buckley and etta james' imaginery son, ben folds five on paper airplanes, quirky poppy regina spektorish, kate bush' imaginery daughter on acid (in the best possible way), and yours truly, maybe if fiona apple and bjork could somehow make a baby together? 


a flyer will be up shortly.  so mark your calendars now, the venue is quite special and the night always ends in unpredictable ways...



and... MANCHESTER: i can't wait to return to acousticfest.  had a great time last time and it's been way too long since i've been back.  so anyone/everyone who's up there, mark me down for JUNE 27.  hope to see some familiar faces from the last time :).


and and and... i've taken up another project with a band called Billy Vincent.  really different to my solo material, but their music is awesome and the bandmates are even awesomer.  you can find them on my top friends.  check them out :).  lots to come with this as well.   stay tuned...dun dun dun :)


i know i've promised to put some new tunes up and i know they're so overdue, but they are coming.  just trying to prioritize things and unfortunately recording isn't at its highest at the moment.  i'll be back on it after i'm done with uni in may. 



and that's about it...by the end of May, i'll return to the real world again with another thousand  needle pricks on all my fingers and hopefully, have some nice photos to share of my final works.   lots to juggle.
