Kiss Concert, Trans-Jamaican Flight, November Rain
We had a good start on this warm week indeed! Kiss was in town playing a show in the park right by our rehearsal room, and after witnessing our neighbours (weirdo-erotic) warm-up boat party, complete with loud Kiss music, make-up and loads of cold beer, we got ourself a ticket a.s.a.p! It..s something special about seeing a band with such a huge and devoted army of fans, and everybody knows their songs by heart. I suppose none of us had been listening to Kiss for many, many years, but we..re so glad we saw them when we had the chance! We got the whole pyro-confetti-loud-rock ..n roll package, and it was awesome! The weather helped as well, and about 17.000 Bergen citizens had a huge smile on their faces, including us..
We were in a not too good shape the next day (we still had confetti in our hair), any attempt on an ordinary rehersal failed big time, so we had a so called !relax! day intead; playing the reggae version of "Transatlantic Flight", known as "Trans-Jamaican Flight", for hours. We also did a hilariuos interpetation of Guns ..N Roses "November Rain, with Ole as the singing keyboard-player and Pål on drums:)
Hope you all are good,
Take care
