I've decided to join the Italian Greyhound foster program! I'm really excited about getting more involved in animal welfare. So, I will be taking in Italian Greyhounds who have been given up, found on the street, or been rescued from abusive situations, and providing them a positive environment while they wait for someone to adopt them. I really feel like I'm doing a good thing, I'm giving these dogs a home to wait for their adopters so they don't have to wait in a shelter.... and freeing up the shelters a little bit so they don't have to put so many dogs down. My first foster was Molly, a sweet-natured IG who I had for a little over three weeks. She was recently adopted by a family in Bellingham who now completely adore her. And now I'm just waiting for the next one... Wish me luck!
