If you didn't see the bulletin or the addition to the Members section, a new drummer has been selected:  Thomas Warren (me). I'll be featured on the new recordings, which we're all super excited about. We hope that you're as excited as we are!

We're recording with Mr. Robby Coats of Clockwork in his studio, Storage Recordings. The first recording session went great. Robby's really cool and really easy going, so we got a lot done without feeling like we were under any pressure. The band layed down the tracks for two songs you may have heard at previous shows:  "Give Her Something to Write About" and "I'm a Stalker For..." Robby let us hear the tracks without any volume adjustment, mixing, mastering, etc. and it already sounds better than the recordings we have up now.

While recording, a young man named Justin McKee came in and videotaped the session for a documentary he wants to make about us. Hopefully, we can get some of the video up here soon so you can see what recording's like.

We'll be going back in on Wednesday to lay down two more songs (probably "Cigarette Boy and "Anna," though time permitting we may start on "Nickname"). I can't wait for all of you to hear the new stuff; it's pretty sweet. Also, be on the lookout for summer shows. We're gonna try to play around the Birmingham area, as well as in the Nashville/Murfreesboro area (if all goes according to plan). We'd love to see all of you and all your friends at our shows!
