Soul/blues duo Dwight & Nicole (Dwight Ritcher and Nicole Nelson) have recently sold out two shows at the Blue Note NYC, and two more at the Regattabar, Cambridge, MA, with their popular show honoring the music of legendary duo Ray Charles & Betty Carter. They're back for one final US performance in June with a show at Martha's Vineyard's premier venue, Outerland. (Formerly, Hot Tin Roof); on Friday, June 6 at 9:00pm. The acclaimed show features lively renditions of duets "People Will Say We're in Love," "Two to Tango", and Ray's classic show-stopper "Night Time is the Right Time." Expect also to hear some of Dwight & Nicole's own original material which showcases their noted vocal power & versatility as songwriters. Members of their "all-star little big band" include; Jeff Galindo (former member of the Ray Charles Big Band) on trombone, Scott Aruda on trumpet, John Aruda on saxophone, Marty Richards on drums, John Lockwood on bass, and Jeremy Berlin on piano.

Dwight & Nicole will be in the studio (Rear Window, Brookline, MA) over the next few months recording an album to be released this Fall. The two are also planning on releasing a live album, featuring, along with some originals, a collection of Ray Charles & Betty Carter songs recorded over four nights
