This is a comment on all the new weight loss products on the market. It is ok to try these - nothing wrong with it but usually there is nothing new out there that has not been done before.  For instance, the new, new NEW thing is Slim Shots. You drink one of these before you eat and you eat less.  The ingredients in Slim Shots? FIBER! Now, before I get in trouble with Slim Shots - there are probably other ingredients in them but fiber is prominent. And, they work or so the women on message boards say. But, there are a couple of products out there I will recommend. Splenda with fiber. The weight control oatmeal. The fiber powder (tasteless) that you sprinkle on food. If you want to feel full, try these! Also, taking a 4 to 5 hour hike in the mountains or three aerobics classes each week would do it!

No kiddin'. Burn more calories than you take in. It's simple math. People who look for something magic ain't gonna find it. If you are a slob that sits on the couch all afternoon or in front of a computer monitor all the time...you won't loose weight unless you eat next to nothing. On the other hand, if you run 100mph all day, workout, run, walk, hike, swim...you can probably chomp down on a 12 ounce rib-eye with all the trimmings and you'll be just fine. I personally believe the key to controlling weight is exercise (killing calories) rather than eating habits. I know...I know...I know...but it's just my personal opinion based on experience and watching people. Almost every overweight person I know watches what they eat...but you'll never see them on a treadmill or hiking up Sassafras Mountain on the Appalachian Trail.
