OK, so it's been a while... my few attempts to use the CLOC exclussive web to post blogs were futile. I am back at the family manse now having closed the chapter of my summer life known as "The CLOC years". It was a good run. The 4th and last year was a wonderful way to end things. My crew was great and i will expect great things from all of them in the future. Now I turn my eyes on the rocky and uncertain future. For those of you who haven't heard, Mark and I have become engaged. We are going to get hitched in Germany rather haphazardly at the Dresden city hall and then we will do something a bit more official in Newfoundland next summer. I don't feel very different about the way things stand. I think the idea of moving to Europe to be with him was a much bigger decision than agreeing to marry him. In any case I can't see myself without him so I suppose it's just as well we are getting married. Having never been one who enjoys marriages it should be interesting to see how yours truely handles his own nuptual. This is to say nothing of the fact that I am marrying someone who goes by the same first name as me. I suppose "love will find a way" and all that. I will keep you posted.
