Accompanied by Their Honored Guests:
Orryelle Definistrate Bascule

Sonic and Visual OrChastrations of Magick and/as Art.
Deep gnosis of HermAphroditic convergence of apparent dualities.
Musickal Theatrical Ritual
Aural invocation
EsSensual wo/manifestation of alchymic coagulation.
Orryelle is a two-in-one-wo/man-band; a souloist (and usually a soloist- for the sake of simplicity especially when travelling) of subtlety and ecstatic intent.
Orryelle is as much a theatrickallist as musician when performing, incorporating dance, mask, costume, and invocation (the source of true 'acting', ie. becoming). With other performers this extends into the MetaMorphic Ritual Theatre Co.
AZPHODEL

Azphodel is the music and performance-art egregore created by Zane Lazos. Long-necked Turkish lute and other bowed and plucked strings, experimental acoustic and electronic instruments, and voice all intermix to create a tapestry of cunning and rapturous sound.
Azphodel was spawned in Portland, Oregon and has performed in venues big and small, notably the EsoZone festival, the East Meets West festival and upcoming Conflux Dark Arts Festival. The first album is expected to be released in 2009. The EP Wandering is available free for download on www.azphodel.com. Azphodel has performed with renown Portland Near-Eastern percussionist and vocalist Michael Beach (Brothers of the Baladi, Arabesque), gothic vocalist and multi-instrumentalist La Sorcière Noire, solo artist Sonic Alchemy, tribal fusion dance troupe Mystic Enchantment and theatrical fire fusion dance troupe Serpentine.
Zane Lazos obtained his bachelor's degree from the Evergreen State College where he studied music composition, theory, performance, and ethnography. He is a member of the Society for Ethnomusicology and maintains a high interest in culture, ecology, and spirituality within the arts. . . . the Primal Ancestral Atavism: the Spirit-totem of I, Seed of the Millions-of-Forms-of-Being, Origin of all Selves that inhabit the Aeons. I am She, I am He that singeth the Uncreated into the Existent Aires, Whose Voice is the Many-tongued Orison, within which is the Hidden Communion of the Sacred Sigils spoken, and by whose tonaltities the States of Nature are wrought. ~Andrew D.
