Hi all,

Firstly, a big apology to everyone who recieved a spam email/bulletin from my Myspace account.

It appears my account was Hacked/Phished.

I have taken the steps suggested by Myspace, so am hoping it will not happen again.
Also, if you have sent me a message in the last couple of weeks, I'm afraid I didn't get it as I deleted all messages in case they contained scripts.

This happens to me on a regular basis. I'm extremely careful on avoiding getting spammed, but the spammers are getting more careful

Hi Sophie,

Tom is aware of this problem and I think he has now fixed it.

Since I changed my details, password and email address, it's been ok.

The Phisher was using people's accounts to send out spam.

That's not cool that you got your account taken over. I wish thy would go back to the more then 10 letter password. I have the same issue with being hacked but not on myspace, but my internet provider. It's been a battle to get them to even help stop the attacks.
Well take care and you need to get a version of Norton NIS or a similar software to warn in real time if the page is valid.
