The ratio for great sports images is: 1 part camera equipment, 3 parts photographer knowledge / anticipation.
Instructor Walt Kuhn is a professional sports photographer with years of experience shooting for the Indy 500 and Brickyard races, as well as multiple basketball, football, baseball and soccer organizations.
Learn on-location in a workshop focused on how to improve your sports photos with equipment you already own. Topics include: lighting, shutter speeds, sport-specific anticipation and of course, hands-on practice!
It is currently baseball season, so this event will include hands-on experience shooting a baseball game to help you see things differently and learn from instant feedback from the instructor. The concepts learned can be applied to any sport.
Equipment required:
dSLR Camera
Charged batteries
Love of sports (or love of your kids playing sports)
Optional equipment:
Longer lens (>150mm) - kit lenses will work
Monopod
