Current mood:  excited
Hi everyone, firstly we want to thank everyone who have made such positive comments about us-we really appreciate people taking the time to listen and comment, cheers! We just want to share some news we have recently received which we are very excited about. The famous powerpop dj, Dave The Boogieman, who is based in New York, will be playing our song 'When I Could Say I Was Your Love' on his power pop radio show from Brooklyn NY on his March radio show. This a huge honour and we're thrilled about it. This is the link when you will be able to hear it.

We will let people know sooner the time when exactly it is on.
Our second exciting piece of news is that The Wags are going to Liverpool for the International Pop Overthrow festival in May, where we will be playing the Cavern! The band collectively fainted when we heard this, and we are delighted to be involved in such a prestigious international event such as this. Again, we don't have the exact details, but we are doing two sets - one in the Cavern and one in a pub not too far away - on the 24th & 25th May. This is a dream come true for us, so we will keep you posted.
We have been working on some new songs, which have the working titles 'Sick & Tired', 'Embrace Me' and 'Beautiful Day' (which may now be called 'When you don't call me'). They're great upbeat pop songs with lovely harmonies and guitars, so hopefully we will get them recorded soon. Paul and Brendan have about 10/12 other songs waiting in the wings to give to the band, so hopefully we will get those worked up soon. We also hope to put on a big show during the summer with some other bands, so keep your eyes peeled for that. Thats all for now, thanks a lot folks.
Brendan (The Wags).
