It has recently come to our attention that our society has somehow decided that everyone should live forever all the time.  I don't know who came up with this eternal life fantasy, but people need to start dying.

I need to preface this argument by stating a few exceptions.  I am not saying we should go out and murder people (well sort of I'll get to that later) and I am especially not saying that war is a legitimate way to thin the herd (in fact it does quite the opposite, once again will get there later).  What I am saying is our gene pool is a neglected condo pond and we are spewing forth mutinous cretins and we need to do something about it.

Frankly, these days, everyone gets to live.  People are born with diseases that if they do not ingest a carefully contrived Rx Cocktail every day they would drop dead.  This should not be.  The main problem facing our society is that everyone gets to live long enough to pass on their less than awesome genetic code to the next potential medical zombie.  I am prime example.  I am grossly overweight, I have asthma, flat feet, and I'm sure I have plenty of other fucked up diseases that I would find out about it I ever went to the doctor.  I really shouldn't be procreating, but guess what, probably gunna happen.  I should have died when I was 8, long before my genetic code ever even made it to a tissue.

But why am I so preoccupied with these people living.  Shouldn't I be happy our technology has made us invincible.  No.  I hate it.  It is the singular stem from which all our problems branch.    Long lines at the grocery store...let people die.  Wanna fix Social Security...let people die.  Our government isn't fixing real problems because they are preoccupied with reforming healthcare...LET PEOPLE DIE.  No healthcare needed, now fix something else.

Now when it comes to the elderly...LET PEOPLE DIE.  These people don't even want to live.  I know old people that have to go to the doctors daily, they take more drugs than the Flaming Lips, and are hooked up to more machines than Justin Broadrick (yeah, obscure refrence, your cool if you got it though.  Jesu owns.) and they don't want to be.  People say they just want to die, but no, someone will take power of attorney and keep them alive.  How much money are we wasting on this.  At this point someone is supposed to say, "But then we would have no jobs in healthcare and the economy would get worse."  Wrong.  How many people that work with you at your shitty job quit and go back to school to be a nurse.  There is a HUGE demand for nurses they tell you.  Nobody gets out of high school and is like, "I'm going to go clean up old people weird colored feces."  Nurses are people who already had jobs and left them, at least in my experience.  Nurses and orderly are also overwhelming immigrants, so we are not losing anything by not having a nursing home on every block.

Suicide should be mandatory, and yes that is an awesome Slayer song, but it an even awesomer realistic idea.  I came up with this great idea.  Drop out of school when you are 14 and get your GED.  Start working immediately and start a pension or retirement fund immediately.  Work until you are 35 and retire.  Enjoy your life while your penis still achieves vertical motion.  I think you could probably get 10 good years out of your life savings.  When the money runs out, kill yourself.  At this point it is important to mention that I don't believe in god, which means logically we should all probably be killing ourselves anyway.  This plan needs some more work, but it's a pretty logically sound idea.

One area where we should not be dying, is war.  It seems like war should be right in line with my idea, but if you have been paying close attention, its actually working against us.  We are taking our country's best and brightest and killing them off before they can breed.  The military has rigorous testing for its troops (or at least it used to before this most recent clusterfuck).  To join the military ideally you have no major diseases and must be in fit physical condition and smart enough to function as a basic human being (or at least you used to...see above).  These are the people we should be sealing inside of bubbles and using their sperm as currency.  Instead we are putting them at the highest risk to die young.  This is counterproductive.

Hope this didn't bum you out to much, but I've been very nihlistic recently.  I need a vacation.
