Brian Beken, formerly fiddler for South Austin Jug Band, currently fiddler for MilkDrive and Guitar Player for St. Cloud had his instruments stolen out of his car last night. If you know any information on any of the stolen musical equipment (descriptions below) Contact bbeken@aol.com.

Time: 7:45pm-9:15pm
Location: Intersection of Nickerson and E Elizabeth, 1 block East of S Congress near Homeslice Pizza


Items stolen:

1 Violin - Dark stain(brown) finish, no lacquer.  L.R. Baggs pick-up. Label reads Cremona. Brown nylon zip close case with red velvet lining(rectangular case, not violin shaped). 4 bows in case as well, 2 wooden and 2 composite. Shoulder rest, rosin, Red-Eye Pre-Amp w/ mute, 1/4" cable. 


3 Guitars - 

-1 Gibson SG, dark red w/ black pick guard, faded sticker on pick-guard is from latest presidential election and reads "I Voted Today"  Black hardshell case that says Gibson USA on top and #1 written in white/silver Sharpie on neck of case, white velvet lining.   
-1 Gibson Spirit(predecessor to the Les Paul Jr.), red w/ dark faux tortoise shell pick guard, single bridge pick-up with white plastic hardware on pick-up, double cut-away, G-string tuner peg is broken off. Black hardshell case that is made of hard rough plastic and boxy, 
       blue velvet lining.
-1 Danelectro, Purple sparkle top w/ white pick guard and white sides and back, sticker on guitar is an artist pass from The Borderline in London and says "Jug Band" in black Sharpie and is dated July 25, 2005. Black softshell case with backpack shoulder straps. 


Pedal Board - Silver metallic diamond-plated 2 latch pedal board case that reads CORE Equipment in lower left-hand corner, sticker on case is a picture of skull and horns and reads Blue Moon Saloon and Guesthouse - Lafayette, LA, black handle.
