The Correction:

As a dear friend stated, myspace itself, the idea, the ability to connect to people is still cool. I think it was and could have the potential to be an amazing resource for socil connection.

For Example: I am now in college. College makes many high school friends go away from 'home'. Myspace allows me to keep in touch with those that live states away more easily and feel like I still have some sort of social life.

Yes, there's more...

HOWEVER, myspace is not working to its potential. Since Rupert Murdoch bought myspace, the site has been slowly diminishing. We now have spammers trying to scam us every which way whenever they get the chance. I have to be afraid to add people as friends that may be innocent in their intentions because I do not in fact know if they're real. I have some dear friends now, one I would consider to be one of my best friends and the first time we ever talked was on myspace. Lame I know, but honestly it was much different in those days and I find myself wanting that back. The current state of myspace makes me sad that the previous days no longer exsist.

The Conclusion:

Rupert Murdoch needs to be shot and his ridiculous conglomerate of possesing a culture he's building to make people obsessed with that which they may not realize he owns needs to crumple.
