This is relatively simple, but it requires that you already know how to do the following 2 things
1) Create a Screenshot of your top friends
2) Use an image editing program like Photoshop to crop the screen capture
If you know how to do both of those things already, then create an image that looks something like this:
click here to see the pictureThe size of it is important, and it will all depend on which type of module layout you are using, which is why you have to make the screenshot yourself (after you have your profile looking how you want it)
Once you have the screenshot saved on your computer, you will need to host it somewhere on the internet, a site that will let you get a DIRECT LINK to the image (I recommend using tinypic.com because it's the easiest/fastest way)
Then once you have your Image URL, use it with this code in the CSS Box under customize profile.
.katamari {unclickable profile 2.0 friends}
div.friendSpaceModule div.moduleBody ol.moduleList {visibility:hidden;}
div.friendSpaceModule div.moduleBody {background-image:url(URL); background-repeat:no-repeat; background-position:center;}Note: if you modify your layout's colors and backgrounds, you will then have to re-create a new screenshot that matches
Note: one of the neat things about doing it this way, is that once you are done, you can change your top friends to how you want them on your homepage, and the ones who show up in your profile will "look different"
HOWEVER: keep in mind that
this is just a little background trick, it will not 100% prevent people from seeing your real top friends list and be able to click on them. all they have to do is disable the styles on your page, or select the new "LITE" option to disable all of your CSS that you put into your "css box" under "customize profile"
oh - and guess what... even if you hide the "LITE" link in your navigation bar, that doesnt stop people from seeing YOUR "LITE" view - they can change it on their own profile if they want to, and then look at your profile in "LITE" mode - sorry
If you would like to see a profile that is using this code to see that "it works" - go to
