Hey Everybody,
Jason here. I appreciate you all hanging on to the AfterLife every now and then. If you've wondered why things have been sporadic, have a child and see how much free time you have. J I'm sure some of you already know. It's poopin', peein', cryin', laughin'and sleepin'.
It's been awesome being a father. Alyric turned 6 months this week, and every couple days I'm astounded by her finding her feet or grabbing the bottle on her own. Other days, I understand why parents get frustrated and want to shake their children (Fortunately most of us parents have a filter from our brain to our arms).
Enough Baby. You'll hear more about that when I unveil one of these songs I'm trying to finish.
THE ROCK ROOM IN GRAND RAPIDS
Tonight and Saturday AfterNine is playing the ROCK ROOM @ 36th South (or 36th Street Lounge depending on who you talk to). First song @ 9:15pm. Located just past Clyde Park west of 131 on 36th St. We're playing the gambit from REO Speedwagon to Tool.
A BIT ABOUT FLINT, MI
I was in Flint on Sunday to Play Scooters, and I"ll tell ya, I'm not a baked bean fan. But when you put bbq sauce and whatever else they do…….WOW! I got a slap of ribs to go. THEY HAD TO PUT IT IN A LARGE PIZZA BOX! The music was pretty good to. J SO if you find yourself at the corner of Torrey and Hill……Stop in @ Scooters and tell them you want the ribs with baked bbq beans.
MAGOO'S OPEN MIC
I was informed yesterday that we'll be shutting down for the summer (which could all be changed with a couple phone calls from you guys). I don't know if next week is the last one or not, but I'll let you know when I know. Thanks to all who have come out and played, sang or just been great characters. I'll be playing a couple shows on the deck over the summer. Gotta love Deck Season and open-toed shoes.

With everything going on I should make sure it's understood that JasonEller.com and AfterNineRocks.com will always have the most updated schedule. I lost my intern to Virginia and army life. If you want to help out with some of the sites and get deeper into what AfterNine is and who I am, let's do some personal conversing and see what we can make happen (whether you live in Michigan or not).
