We regret to inform everyone that after tonight's show in Virginia Beach (8/20/07) we will be heading home. This tour was suppose to run until the 31st of August, but problem after problem has been hitting us since we left back on the 7th.
When we arrived at our first show of this tour on the 10th in Indiana we were notified that there were no contracts for ANY of the shows ... which basically means we aren't guaranteed the money that we were told we would be receiving. Thankfully, the majority of the shows have had really awesome promoters, and they stuck to their word paying us what the paperwork said.
The real road blocks came in to play after our show in Dayton, Ohio on August 15th. After the show the guys in Nodes of Ranvier made the decision to head home and drop the tour. Their reasons were understandable, and there were no hard feelings. We enjoyed playing with them very much, and we hope to do more shows with them again soon.
After hearing this news Inhale/Exhale decided to do a couple more shows on the tour, but ultimately leave after tonight's show.
Oh, Sleeper decided to stick it out with us up until tonight (tonight was their last show on this tour anyway). These guys were awesome to tour with, and we're very grateful to have shared the stage with them.
We only got to play one show with My Bitter End (8/18/07) in Ronkonkoma, NY. They were really awesome guys, but for good reasons they had to stick behind to finish personal business in New York.
So, now that after tonight ALL of the bands we were going to be touring with are heading off in their own ways .. we have been forced to do the same. We are terribly sorry for those of you that have been waiting for us to get over to the East coast. Trust me when I say this ... we would TOTALLY finish this tour if we could, but by ourselves there is no way.
We hope you all understand, and we will do our best to get back over to the East coast as soon as possible.
