'All This Love' by DeBarge
'September' by Earth Wind & Fire
'I Miss You' by Blink 182

PLEASE NOTE THIS LIST IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE.  ANY OR ALL OF THESE SONGS MAY OR MAY NOT BE REMOVED FROM THIS LIST.  CHECK BACK FREQUENTLY FOR UPDATES.

Q:  Do I have to perform the song I choose in the original key or can I change it?
A:  During Open calls, you will be performing ALONE. Therefore, you can change the key if you are more comfortable.  However, if you are called back, you will be expected to perform any or all of the songs on the list in the ORIGINAL KEY.

Q: Will Lyric Sheets and/or sheet music be provided?
A. Lyric sheets will be provided. Sheet music is still TO BE DETERMINED.  CHECK BACK OFTEN FOR UPDATES.  It is highly recommended that you know the material you've chosen regardless of whether additional aids are provided at the auditions.

Q: Will there be seperate song lists for the musicians and backup vocalists?
A: All musicians regardless of specialty will be choosing from the SAME  list of songs. For your open call, choose the ONE you think BEST SHOWCASES your abilities!

Q:  Do I have to start at the beginning of the song?
A: No. You can start at a point that BEST REPRESENTS your skill, range and talent.

INSTRUMENT Questions:
Q: Are you accepting any other instruments?
A: We are only looking for musicians who play: GUITAR, BASS, KEYBOARD & DRUMS

Q: Can you audition on more than one instrument, or say, an instrument + vocals?
A: Yes you can.  Just let the folks at the registration desk know if you intend to do so.

Q:  Do I need to bring my own amp and monitor?
A: No. You should bring your GUITAR, BASS, or drummers, bring your STICKS and PEDALS as necessary. Keyboards and vocalists, bring yourselves.  Everything will be provided.

Q: If we get a call back, can we bring our own drum set? I have V-Drums (an electronic kit) and it's fast and easy to set up.
A:  NO, YOU WILL NEED TO USE THE DRUM KIT & PEDALS PROVIDED. Bring ONLY your DUMSTICKS.

Q: I just read the notice "we are currently not looking for percussion". Have you already have found  all the drummers you need?
A: Percussionists & drummers are NOT the same thing!  We are still
looking for DRUMMERS who play a DRUM KIT!!

Q: Since we can audition for instrument + vocals, do we have the option of auditioning once with instrument and vocals, or twice -once with instrument and second with vocals?
A:  You will audition SEPARATELY for EACH SKILL.

Q:  I DON’T THINK ANYTHING ON THE SONG LIST WILL ALLOW ME TO REALLY SHOW MY TALENT.  WHAT SHOULD I DO?
A:  ALL PERFORMERS, REGARDLESS OF SPECIALTY, SHOULD BE PREPARED TO SHOWCASE THEIR ABILITIES IN A VARIETY OF WAYS.  THE JUDGES MAY ASK YOU TO PLAY ONLY THE SONGS AS LISTED; THEY MAY ALSO ASK YOU TO DO ADDITIONAL THINGS.  FOR EXAMPLE, THEY MAY ASK YOU TO SOLO, EXECUTE KEY CHANGES, SIGHT-READ, OR DEMONSTRATE YOUR KNOWLEDGE OF VARIOUS MUSICAL STYLES.

A: You will be numbered, but you will be waiting outside, so dress warmly!

Q: Why is it that for  Pennsylvania, you have to be 21 years + in order to audition for  Making His Band while other states require 18 or 19? We think it's  unfair especially since their is talent here in PA and its not a fair
chance because we live in a certain state.
A:  The state of PENNSYLVANIA considers a person an ADULT at the age of 21.  This means you can sign legal contracts without the consent of a parent or guardian. We require all of our applicants to sign THEIR OWN LEGAL DOCUMENTS and WE MUST ABIDE BY THE LAW IN YOUR STATE OF RESIDENCE.

Q: Am I too old to autidion? I'm 47 years old.
A: No, there is NO AGE LIMIT.  So please come audition!

CALL BACK Questions:
Q: When will call backs be?
A:  Depending on turnout, we plan to hold callbacks on the SUNDAY AND/OR MONDAY following the open call day in each city. You will be notified before you leave the audition room if you have a callback.

Q: If we do make through to the call backs and we get in the band is
the tour from April to June or is that still the selection process
from april to june then the tour after that?
A:  The show detailing the process of selecting the band will be shot mainly between April and June. There may be additional shoots later in the year. the Date of the tour has yet to be determined.
