Hey folks!

It's been 11 freakin' years since SNMNMNM met in the basement of the annex at the Eastman School of Music and it's amazing to me that we can still bring the rock the way we do. Not to toot our own horn but last night we played a benefit show at the Cat's Cradle here in NC and it was great! Matt Vooris, who left the band last year at this time, rejoined the band for this special show and it was awesome! It was mixed crowd of young and old, fan and friend, and lots of new peeps. They all  had a good time yelling "Spanish Cucumber!" or clapping along to Pull The Rug.  I think our abilty  to apeal to a broad base of music liseners is one of the uniquly special things about our band.  As some of you may have noticed, things have slowed down a bit around here. We haven't been playing as many shows, we haven't recorded any new material, and there are no plans to tour. All of us are getting into other creative endevours and 2009 should be an interesting year for all of us. Will SNMNMNM make it to 12? "Goonies never say die."
