Hey all!
Thankyou for joining us for this fantastic fifth month of Pixie Music! To all those that have been coming along to our clients’ shows, thanks a bunch.
Make sure you have our Pixie Music Presents gig in your diary – This Friday at the Lass in Newcastle. If you haven’t been to a Pixie-related gig yet, be sure not to miss our first ever Pixie Music Presents (PMP) showcase event, this Friday at the Lass O’Gowrie in Newcastle. Bring your friends, your Mum, your dog (well, maybe not the dog) – Music provided by Benjalu, Opei, Sketching Cato & VAMP. It’s free entry and doors open at 8.30pm. Bring some spare change as Benjalu, Sketching Cato & VAMP will have CDs to buy and we will be revealing our special Pixie Music tees as well! Pixie Music Presents will be the start of our regular quarterly events to showcase our lovely clients and friends. We are proud to have Beaumont Street Beat on-board as a sponsor of this event! And will have some giveaways from them on the night, as well as having PMP acts’ CDs in-store.

VAMP... Been kicking it all the way from Newcastle to Manly! Demo is d-d-d-done! Sounds rockin’! Thanks to Heath Rowley for all his time and efforts with it. We’re selling it for only $5. To get a copy, come to our shows. Or shoot us an email and we’ll arrange postage. We have the tunes on MySpace (myspace.com/vamptheband) and JJJ Unearthed, so have a listen and let us know your thoughts... Catch us this Friday at the Pixie Music Presents gig!
Sketching Cato... Rounded up their EP Launch Tour with a massive Lansdowne gig in Sydney. Thanks to all her came to their shows and bought an EP! Sarakula... Released his awesome ‘City Heart’ album last month – Available from Sanity or iTunes! He started his partly-Pixie planned tour on the 11th August at Notes in Newtown and is now trekking around the countryside no doubt charming audiences with his piano-pop everywhere he goes! Caleb Skips Chemistry & CentreSection... We are busy planning both these bands’ EP launches and tours for October/November this year! We have heard a sneak preview of CentreSection’s EP and it sounds truly rockin'!
