Kindergoth creator Lee Kohse of BloodFire Studios will be at Club Ascension in San Diego this Saturday signing copies of the newest Kindergoth comic! Come out and support one of San Diego's longest operating underground comic publishers. BloodFire Studios is a San Diego based art studio and comic book publisher. For almost 12 years their creative teams have been producing art for such films as Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Aliens Vs Predator, Angel, Shrek, Doctor Who, and Lord of the Rings, and they have worked on pretty much every major comic produced by Marvel and DC Comics. As an underground comic publisher, BloodFire Studios has produced the hit indy comics, Kindergoth (soon to be an animated series), Vampyrates, Diary of Night, Utopiates, Intergalactic (from the pages of Heavy Metal Magazine), and DNA Hacker Chronicles (which was made into the indy film "The Gene Generation" staring Bai Ling and Faye Dunaway). Senior Creative Executive Len Wein, creator of the New X-Men, Wolverine, Storm, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Swamp Thing, and the new Human Target, joined founders Dennis Greenhill and Lee Kohse in 2008 to help run the company and produce the new Kindergoth Animated Series.
