Okay kids, so here's the deal. First Fridays is back after quite a long break and this time we mean business. We've got a great lineup for the first month. We're having Rancheros, Mevansa, and Brother playing on April 3rd, and this is just the beginning. So come out, bring a friend or six and lets hang out and listen to good music together.
Now some of you who have been with us from the beginning are going to be pissed that we have to pay to get in now, and I do apologize, but let me explain why and maybe you'll understand.
The reason we are charging admission is not so we can get rich and take over the world. Its honestly to be able to reward the bands for playing for us. How many times have you bought tickets from a friend's band for a hollywood show only to find out that your friends band didn't make any money after working so hard and had to give all of it to the venue? That sucks right? So we're going to change that. We are all about taking care of our bands and so in order to make it worth their time to come out and play, we're going to give them the money from ticket sales. The only money we (Divine Savior church/first fridays) takes from the ticket sales will be to cover the costs we incur to put this show on. We will make no profit from this event, all the profit goes to the bands. So hopefully that will alleviate any bad feelings toward selling tickets.
So anyways, the bands that are playing are the top three friends on our top 8. Go check them out. And also we're starting at 8:00, so be there on time friends. Punctuality is a virtue.
Stay safe, see you soon. If you want to buy presale tickets for a dollar cheaper than at the door, contact me and I'll get them to you.
Much Love Kyle
