Lol! Well, I think I'm gonna start talking about my choices when it comes to music. I grew up loving listening to music! Remember back in the days, when we used to listen to cassette tapes? I used to collect them, hundreds of them! Then when I got older, I got my first job working in tower records(those of you in the US would know what it is). I worked as a clerk and my responsibilities included: restocking; sorting out CDs according to their genres; pricing and ringing up registers. It didn't pay a whole lot, but when I think of it now, it was the best job that I've ever had, even until today! The best part of the job was, the hundreds of free demo CDs the store would receive from record companies.
All I needed to do was to fill out the names and barcodes off the CDs, and I was free to take any of them! I would always finish work late, so by the time I get to the demo box upstairs, all the top 40 and popular artists stuff were already taken, all was usually left were classical, indie, jazz, opera, world, new age, experimental artists, which I was more than happy to take them! I would then go home and spend hours listening every single day, and I still spend hours listening every single day, lol! I think the fact that I was exposed to such a diverse genres of music, definitely has a HUGE impact on me today! I hope my story will start the blog, and anybody who wants to talk about how they love their music! Remember, no music, no life!
 

Well, i'm mostly into japanese music of the Visual Kei style...uh yeah...and English music as well from countires like the us and even some german music...so i basically spend all day listening to music...as you said, no music no life...
 

ahh very interesting part.. what kind of music i like. ?.. Sence i can remeber i always grow up with music.. at home it was clasical music always._( my dad is a big fan of clasical music).. and the other with the 70..rock bands ( becouse of my mother).. so is a kind of wierd mixtured i got there.. i love japanese music, visual music, rock, alternative, bossanova, lounge etc.. etc.. it really doesn..t matter what kind of music you like, must is what do you feel when you listen to them.. if you begging to have the shiver, to get i a sort of point emocional .. that was the music all about.. to feel..

any way.. i..m a graphic designer and i can tell you that with out design and music i would be dead by now.. couse that is my world !!!

Music is life !!! yeah !!!

I completely agree that without music you would not have life. Music itself is an expression of life and without it-life would be rather drab. Any kind of music is good as long as its true to the feeling-music should be made to portray or send a message rather than just be senseless drifting sounds. Keep up the good work with the music-I myself am a musician and I know what its like to constantly create and create searching for perfection.

 

i love all types of music. its hard to pick. wat i listen to depends on my mood. when i'm depressed i listen to country. when i need to think or don't want to think its classical. when i wanna dance i love latin music or reggaeton. i like rap, though not a lot of the mainstream stuff. i guess maybe my favorite would be rock. basically i love any music where you can feel that the artist is really into it. ha.

 

Hi there, I like to listen to many sorts of music. For exapmle I love Marilyn Manson but I am also a great fan of classical music and all that is inbetween :-) Yeah I know my taste is strange haha. What I realy don't like is trance and all that just can't handle it. Love Jazz, disco, old motown, I need to hear music every day and to what I listen depenst on my mood. If I am doing housework I Love an upbeat kind of music makes things go faster well to me but when I am relaxing on the couch with a nice glass of wine I love to hear classical music, opera's or something lighter. And it is true no music no life !!

that's true music is nice but think about what you are saying,any way some say music is just for enjoyment because there is no employment .think about Allah first before thinking of music we will all die and leave music here,my concern  that why people don't think carefully how many people die everyday still people don't believe what the Quran said.Allah give us every thing in life and said to us stop let's follow what good and leave the bad thing.
