As of last week, Kylie decided to leave the band. Her decision was not discussed but as of her email on Wednesday night, she no longer wishes to be a part of violet violet.

We would like to stress that we are both really shocked following her decision and never would we have imagined that this would happen within the band or the three of us.

We will be continuing the band regardless and have decided to do so as a two piece-just like all the greats: sonny and cher, simon and garfunkel and the ting tings, naturally.

We are so proud of this new record and so excited for everyone to hear it!

The two of us will be announcing tour dates and album launch party fun real soon... we hope we'll see you there!
