Many
of you have been asking when we’re bringing back Walla Walla Sweet Onion Rings
and we’re delighted to say, they’ve arrived!
In
addition to this Burgerville favorite, we’ve gotten creative with this
particular onion. Our new Sweet Onion Horseradish Burger takes a Country
Natural Beef patty and pairs it with pickled Walla Walla Sweet Onions,
tomatoes, lettuce and horseradish sour cream sauce on a toasted potato bun,
while the Sweet Onion Summer Side Salad mixes tangy pickled Walla Walla Sweet
Onions with fresh zucchini and grape tomatoes.
Grown
right in Oregon’s own Walla Walla Valley, our Walla Walla Sweet Onions come
from several growers including Locati Farms, the only Food Alliance
certified-sustainable source of Walla Walla Sweets, and our zucchini is grown
at family-owned Dickey Farms in Bingen, Washington. While most onions will make
you cry, our Walla Walla Sweet Onions only invoke tears of joy!
