The Kulia Roots Fest is a benefit concert for the Center of Hawaiian Language of the University of Hawai'i. Kulia, meaning to strive, is our goal in creating a lasting foundation. The Kulia Roots Fest features acts from around the world, alongside Hawai'i's top artists. Each band has a conscious awareness of their surroundings, capturing the essence of what defines Roots Music. An uplifting concert experience will be delivered to our audience, all the while supporting a main ingredient of our Hawaiian Culture, the language.
This year's line up includes Stranger, Dubkonscious, Inna Vision, Josh Heinrichs formerly of JAH ROOTS, & Ooklah The Moc. This is an all ages event $15 for UH Students / $20 General tickets & the gates open at 5pm so get there early. For more info go to
