Friends:

If you have not already heard, Ben Bloom, our friend and keyboardist, passed away yesterday.  We have a lot of questions but very few answers, and we will keep you posted as we learn more.

Those of you who knew Ben or had seen us play knew that he was an incredibly dedicated musician.  His presence will be greatly missed as he brought so much enthusiasm and creativity to this scene.

Obviously, Rein[Forced] will not be playing the Slick Idiot show tonight.  However, the show is still scheduled, and Ben will be in our thoughts.

I only talked to ben a few time but I could tell he was a great guy. My thoughts will be with him and all of you that were close to him.

I just found out earlier this evening, last night, whatever.  This is just one of those times when words are just never quite right....

Condolences to the band (especially Turner), to Ben's family and to everyone who called him their friend.  Perhaps now Ben can see that place his sometimes distant eyes were longing to see.  The release of Futile Longings... will certainly serve as a testament to Ben Bloom's talent.  His warm smile and the memory of chatting (more like screaming) over a Guinness at Ceremony will stay with me forever.

i met him a long time ago at the last show at Laga. Nice guy...he will certainly be missed.

There will be a short service sunday at Homewood Cemetary. Directions to the site will be posted at the gates. It will start at 1:31pm and everyone is welcome to stay as long as they would like. This is just a chance to say goodbye in your own way. hope to see you all there, thanks, chad

Today is one of those days where I wish I could call Ben up and go chill with him. Always remembered and never forgotton. I miss him so much right now!
