Smokey is telling me that "we're close to a date" for the 12th Annual Party in the Pasture. Traditionally he's managed to step on something else (Cinco de Mayo, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, etc.) - so I'm betting on Thanksgiving or Christmas this year!

Oh - some of you don't know what Party In the Pasture is all about??? Check out the pics on this site to start with. It's traditionally two days and two nights of Texas music, under the giant pecan trees in the pasture at the Extremely Remote Smokey Wilson Ranch near Cuero, TX.
Camping is available, nothing is provided (but everything is available) - join like-minded people for a couple of days of fun. Bring your guitar and join other musicians around the campfires at night.
