October 27, 2009 - Tuesday
Well, I think we've finally recovered from Friday night now although I have a feeling that we'll spend tonight in the studio doing nothing but talk about what was probably the BEST gig of our lives as a band on Friday night.

When the four of us decided to sit down and give 15 Times Dead another go we wanted to make sure that if we came back it was for the right reasons and that it was going to be bigger, better, tighter, heavier and full of Girth.  With some trepidation about 6 months ago we returned and began our plan for the Re-Girth.

On Friday night in front of what can only be described as our HUGE family of friends in the metal scene in Glasgow we had the TIME of our lives and for that we want to say a big thank you.  Thanks to you all for turning up to see us, Syth, Amok and Circle of Tyrants in what was an incredible venue put on a show that we hope you found as entertaining as we found enjoyable.

It was great rubbing shoulders first with all our good mates in each of the bands that shared this bill and also renewing old acquaintances throughout the crowd.  Your reaction on the night meant more than anything to the four of us.

We've uploaded a "review" of Friday night on YouTube including Circle of Tyrant's Spearhead Assault, Amok's Mugabe and Syth's Tortured Soul as well as the tail end of our own set with Bullethead and Girth Giver before we give our thoughts on the night to The Kilted Headbanger of Metal101's Rockstar Glued Radio.  Just head on over to www.youtube.com/15timesdead and enjoy at your pleasure.

We also need to send special thanks to The Classic Grand for agreeing to put this bill on for us and also making it such a smooth running night.  Especially Ally and Bryan who did a magnificent job organising and promoting it all.

It feels good to be back and next on the agenda is another re-union when we catch up with our mates in 101% Pantera with a re-scheduled gig at Ivory Blacks on Friday 18th December.  This one is a Dimebag Memorial gig where 101% will be playing over TWO HOURS of Pantera classics.  These boys are the BEST in the UK without a doubt and really should not be missed.  If you miss Pantera and Dime like we do then you will not be disappointed.

So, with the Re-Girth over it's time to get our work gear on and get you some tunes up to start Chuggin' the Girth.

Thanks again to you all and here's to the next chapter in 15 Times Dead.
