Ok... now that I have your attention!!!  "Beauty Mark" is the name of my debut album releasing December 8, 2007, and it is by far one of the greatest accomplishments in my life.  Tomorrow UPS will deliver the finished masterpiece, nicely packaged and ready for distribution... what a feeling!!!  Like most writers and artists, every song and completed project is like their "baby", and so one is really proud to show it off to the world.  But, with all humility, my pride in this project really lies in the personal journey on which I had to wonder in order to deliver such an art work.  A journey whose layovers where marked with disappointment, hurt, isolation and rejection; a journey whose rest stops provided discovery points of joy, and a revelation of what it means to be a "real sex symbol" (Prov.31) and soul-y cling to God; a journey whose path has led to the reward of life and love in the design of marriage and motherhood...So much of this journey was scarring, but has destined me to carry a "Beauty Mark"... a divinely bestowed identifier of God's Love and Character...skillfully carved in my heart and soul so that I can relate and release Light in a dark world. Experience "Beauty Mark" December 8th!

Amen to that!

All artists know what the journey is like, when you're trying to create something beautiful and yet honest and heartfelt, something that will engage the listener whilst connecting with them on a deeper level than 'just a hooky chorus' and so on.....

So I am proud of you for your achievement as I know many amazing singers who have yet to begin let alone complete their own album, either afraid of failure or of success, yet still afraid to express their soul in concrete form for all to see and hear.

I can't wait to hear and enjoy the album as the expression of all you are and what the journey has brought you. I know that my journey along the same path has at times been a challenge and other times the greatest joy, but whatever it is, it is MY journey and my song to sing and share with the world - and there's nothing wrong with taking humble pride in that!
So you do your thing and show the world all the beauty marks you have inside and out.....

I for one will be there supporting another sister on the path......

Stay blessed and enjoy every moment....
