May 22nd, as some of you thoroughly obsessed Smiths
fans well know, is a big day. On this day, our favorite singer with
the thorn in his side was born.
MORRISSEY!
The
Smiths are DJ Diana's (Club Underground/Black Candy) favorite bands, and being from LA, she is naturally
inclined to love the Moz-father, so let's celebrate on Thursday May 21st and party into Moz's b-day at BLACK CANDY!!
This
is a night for fans put on by fans. Forget cover charges and expensive
bar prices. We're doing it the right way at the Little Cave. Just come
ready to dance, no cover charge, $5 Jaeger bombs and $3 Bat Ale.
DJ Diana will be spinning Smiths and Moz throughout the night, screening films such
as "Who Put The M In Manchester?" on the projector and...drumroll...
to celebrate Moz's birth, there will be a Morrissey Look Alike Contest at MIDNIGHT (prizes will be awarded).This is a special one-night event, but Black Candy is EVERY THURSDAY at the Little Cave cranking out post-punk, indie pop, madchester, electro, and everything our dj's desire. Get Involved!
