Listen up y'all cause we've got some big news.

It's with much sadness that we announce that our drummer, Lynda, will be playing her last show with Blow Up Betty this Saturday night at the Crown and Anchor. After having set-up and established this band (it's been a long 6 years since we started with our original line-up!) Lynda has decided to pursue some of life's other goals and could no longer dedicate the time needed to push BUB further. Lynda has been an integral part of this band over the last 6 years- her knowledge, enthusiasm and skill with the sticks has been paramount to making BUB what it is today, and we thank her so very much for her advice, dedication and prescence within the band. She's like our big sister and nothing will ever change that!

Having known about this for some months now, BUB have been tucked away preparing our new drummer, and she'll be introduced to you all at our gig at the Jetty Bar (Oct 6). With an amazing intensity, passion and a bundle of enthusiasm, we believe we've found a person who will exceed all expectations...we can't wait to play live with her!

So to Lynda we say thankyou- thankyou for your beautiful personality, thankyou for your smile, thankyou for inspiring us as musicians...we hope you're proud of us and what we've achieved :)
