So are you all wondering what the hell is going on? :) Well, the rumours are true. Blow Up Betty are racking up the guitars for a little while whilst Kim heads overseas for 6 months to pursue whatever degree it is that she’s studying now. As things generally can’t function when anyone disappears on us now, it was decided that BUB would take a well-deserved break. We’ve all been going hard at this for four years now, and our little break in Autumn of this year just reinforced how ready we are to take a decent amount of time off and refresh. To all of those that have made the last four years an amazing ride for us – we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. There are far too many of you to name now, and Kim will probably try to do it onstage for the last gig anyway!

That’s right! One massive bon voyage blowout before the Betties pack it up for awhile – Friday November 7 @ the Crown and Anchor from 9pm. FOUR MASSIVE BANDS (the likes of Diamond Sins, Ricochet Pete and Dead Popes of the Vatican) take to the stage for what is going to be one hell of a rock n’ roll party! Entry is free, and Betty merch will be going real cheap, so bring your change!
