Sincere apologies for taking so damn long! But as of now we're finally in the latter stages of mixing our new EP, entitled "Following Ivy". We've posted a new song off the album, "Abdomen Bay", and we'll be posting more in the coming days/weeks!
Regarding the album, we can undoubtedly say it's a huge step forward for us. We worked hard on building on the style we already had, focusing on texture and making the songs more dynamic and overall just bigger in scope. There will be some big surprises on the album, and we can honestly say it's something all 4 of us will be proud to call the best thing we've ever done. To sum things up, this album embodies something we collectively have been wanting to hear from our scene for so long.
One of the new tracks, "Blood in the Sand" will feature guest appearances from Casey Sabol (ex-Periphery), Arkadius (Suidakra), and Alan Simpson (This Time It's War). Chris Dowhan (Haste the Day, Black Dahlia Murder, Giant) and I engineered the album at Planet Red, Richmond, VA, and he'll be handling mixing duties once again. The album artwork and a release date are pending, but stay tuned for more songs being posted in the coming days/weeks… again, our apologies for taking so long with this album. But the goal from the start has been to create something that stands the test of time, and we've been willing to spend as much as it takes on this. It will definitely be worth the wait..
Thanks SO much for your prolonged patience!
-Mark
