Current mood: crazy
Now that's ready and packed! Yeehahhh !
I met my Erasmus coordinator a couple of days ago. A very cool guy. He seems to appreciate my project. Last year I left my University because they are wankers and didn't want to let me go, so I moved to a crappy University in the suburbs... but I don't care about!! 'cause now I can go to Bergen in order to study for a whole year. So yesterday I met the guy and together we built a "courses-plan". He was OK but a little problem happened: I had to respect the main lines of the courses of my home University. But in Bergen there is no courses focusing on Ancient/Modern history (mean Antiquity and post-Middle Ages periods). The guy was saying that he didn't care about, but that he was not able decide everything by himself and that we had to find a solution. So... we found out something which is, I think, pretty good.
On semester 1: - History and Culture of Norway - 15 ECTS. - Tradition and Culture of Norway - 15 ECTS. - Norwegian language level 1 - 15 ECTS. 45 ECTS means a lot of work but I don't care, it will be during the winter so good times during the summer ;)
On semester 2: - Scandinavian Anthropology - 15 ECTS - Norwegian language level 1 or 2 - 0 ECTS
The Norwegian is 0 ECTS here because on a whole year getting 30 ECTS in language studies when you're studying History is quite strange, isn't it?^^. Would be cool and easy but no, unfortunately. I can't do ALL what I want ;)
So now it makes 60 ECTS. But remember what I said about Ancient and Modern History. My coordinator asked me qomething boring and a little bit complicated, but made something easier on the other side: - I have to earn 45 ECTS in Norway, that means that I "can" miss one exam because all my exams are 60 ECTS. - I have to pass 2 mini-exams about Ancient History an Modern History at second semester exams at my home institution, 3 weeks after the Norwegian ones. 2*6 ECTS = 12. - So I have to get 45 ECTS in NO and 12 in France. Unfortunately if I get 60 ECTS in NO i have to pass my 12 here, nothing change (again, the same problem: I have to pass the fucking Modern and the damn Ancient History).
I don't know if I'm clear, i hope you got it, lol...
BTW, I just booked my ferry, Hanstholm/Bergen on 26/07/2007. My car, myself and another guy = 119 euros! Cheap Fjorline! Colorline is at least 245 euros and I booked that in winter. Booking a few weeks before must be a Hell, i think prices increase a lot.
Heia Bergen! I can't wait, faen. Lørdagpizza here I cooooooooooome again!
