RULES:
1. All LOCAL bands (Sussex Based) will not play in Brighton 2 weeks prior to, or after your booking with us. This guarantees better attendance for your show and maximises our promotion possibilities.
2. All NON LOCAL bands shall not play Brighton 1 month prior to, or 2 weeks after your booking with us.
3. ALL BANDS on CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING shall provide OPEN TAGE with their LOGO and a SAMPLE SONG (for our Podcasts) via email.
4. ALL BANDS should be willing to provide a piece of equipment to be used for their shows shared backline (e.g cabs/drum kit etc)
5. ALL BANDS MUST be able to arrive at the venue 2 hours before stated door time for set up and soundcheck. Bands providing the Drum kit MAY be asked to arrive earlier.
6. ALL BANDS MUST provide their own ampheads and drum breakables– If this is a problem YOU MUST CONTACT THE OTHER BANDS ON YOUR BILL to arrange an alternative solution.
7. ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST be made AND CONFIRMED by OPEN TAGE a minimum of 14 DAYS IN ADVANCE OF YOUR SHOW.
8. ALL BANDS MUST ADHERE TO ANY RULES LAID OUT BY THE VENUES WE USE!!!
9. ALL BANDS MUST add our FACEBOOK group and PODCAST via Itunes (if possible). Bands must encourage their fans to do the same (a myspace bulletin will be fine!) WE DO NOT SPAM PEOPLE but this rule ensures YOUR gig and other Open Tage shows are publicised as much as possible – plus you might garner new fans from other bands advertisements. IT’S ALL GOOD!!!!
10. ALL BANDS confirmed via email will be deemed to have agreed to the above rules. ANY BANDS DEEMED NOT TO BE FOLLOWING THE ABOVE RULES WILL BE BLACKLISTED WITH OPEN TAGE AND THEIR DETAILS WILL BE PASSED ONTO ALL BRIGHTON VENUES AND PROMOTERS.
We are not ogres and we are willing to negotiate on SOME of the rules above – but this must be done WELL in advance of your gig. The above rules may seem strict but due to the band to venue ratio we have in Brighton rules must be made to allow us, and you to have the best gig possible.
