Tom Colletti Signs Music Licensing Deal With MTV/Viacom
New York Based Music Production Company, Fire Productionz, today announced the Landmark Licensing Deal for Producer Tom Colletti with MTV Networks for a new Reality-TV Show on MTV Tr3s.
New York, NY October 8, 2007 – Tom Colletti, Founder and Head of Production at Fire Productionz and www.fireproductionz.com has just entered a licensing agreement with MTV Networks for the new Reality-TV Show titled "The Road To Menudo." The show is scheduled to make its season debut on MTV Tr3s Thursday, October 25, 2007 at 9:00pm.
Tom Colletti stated, "This deal with MTV means a lot to me as a producer; it's another step in the right direction for my career and my production company. I'm excited to expand my production platform and I look forward to working with MTV over the long-term."
The original band Menudo, recorded 35 albums in the 70s and 80s, sold more than 60 million records, set concert attendance records worldwide and produced superstars Ricky Martin and Robby Rosa. The new Menudo will be managed by legendary manager Johnny Wright who has worked with NSYNC, Backstreet Boys and Justin Timberlake as a solo artist.
This deal with MTV is yet another opportunity that has recently come about for the young producer who is recognized for the trademark song featured on allhiphop.com called "Love That Boy" with Dipset/Skull Gang recording artist Jay Bezel. Tom Colletti currently resides in New York City, where he is a student at the notable Institute of Audio Research (IAR) in Union Square. He is also producing a mixtape for Spate Magazine which will feature the hottest underground hip-hop artists in the game. The scheduled release date for the mixtape is January 17, 2008.
