 One of the people on my friends list, for a long time, is a female folk singer/songwriter called Lauren Wilson. I can't remember when i added her to my list and how i found her myspace profile. But i'm glad i did.
Today i noticed Lauren posted a few new songs. And i think you really should listen.
The songs Lauren produces have an atmosphere that is great. I love her voice, but of course that's very personal, especially since it's simply unique.
When i listen to Lauren, i listen to someone, i feel, that is real. Someone not 'performing' nor trying to act like an artist. There are loads of people who do. Acting like as if they are 'the next big thing'. She's not like that. At least not in her songs.
So,.. what else can i say? I could go on wasting a lot of words, but i think you should simply go check out for yourself (and add her to your friends-list, of course).
