This weekend saw us travel to both V festivals, starting off with the trek to Staffordshire on friday to play the Strongbow tent.
So we rocked up to play at 7pm, and thought it would be a rather quiet affair, seeing as the festival hadn't started yet, and the main arena not even opened. However we were wrong, and the place was seriously heaving and totally going off.
So we smashed out a set, and became rock stars! Everyone absolutely loved it, took all our free giveaway cd's like they were delicious freshly cooked muffins, wanted to high-five all of us in turn and know what our band is called, over and over again. Just so you guys know we are called
MEAN POPPA LEAN.
So that was that, and the next day we took another road trip back down South to the Chelmsford site, for our second appearance on the Strongbow stage the follow day.
Again we thought a 1pm slot on a sunday may be a little early for some but it again was blooming rammed to the rafters!! After another NAILS tight performance (word created by C-Dogg) we had the crowd eating jaffa cakes out of our little sweaty yellow hot pants.
Massive thanks if you came to see us at V Festival 2009, you guys rocked our world, and if you didn't, gutted.
P.S Did I mention that we also smashed out a dirty little set at Isle of Wight Festival this year as well? Again on the Strongbow Stage, and again mega double mega!
