Who Gives Kudos:

Thursday, October 18, 2007
With much regret, remorse, and chagrin we announce the resignation of Nathan Craft, bass player of the Kinetiks. He brought much to the band, including a knowledge of music theory that was waaaay beyond the rest of us, a love of rhythm, and sheer sturdiness. I invite other testimonies and memorials if anyone cares to share what Nate Craft meant to them as a kick butt bass fiend.

On a positive note, Nathan will be playing one more show with us. Our EP release show which is yet to be announced. He wrote and performed all the bass parts on the album, and will perform them live, one last time. Be there for this historic occasion (probably in November).

And so, we welcome a new bass player into the realm of the Kinetiks. His name is Philip "lover of horses" Gratz. He will continue the legacy that Nathan Craft so laid forth. His debut performance will be Oct. 19th at the Jackpot Saloon at 10 p.m. See you there!

The Kinetiks guarantee to rock faces off within this new configuration.

THE KINETIKS ARE DEAD! LONG LIVE THE KINETIKS!
- Nate was great because more often than not he found every right note and when we drank he would leave me PBRs. I'm grateful, but I'm also really excited for you guys finding someone new and adding some new life to the group.

Of the many things I miss about Lawrence, two include 1) dancing my ass off with the Kinetics and Red Lefty, and 2) declaring insane prop to Nathan Craft at either opportunity!
