Sheeesh... what a weekend! Thanks to those of you who came out Friday night and made our first show at the Mercury Lounge a memorable one. Looking up and seeing everyone up front dancing, letting loose, and having a blast just makes playing the Merc all the more awesome. When you see that many booties moving in this been-there-done-that, too-cool-for-school town -- it's a very special thing to say the least. The throwing of cigarrettes (unlit, thankfully) and beer cups (empty & plastic, thankfully) at us added a visual element to the show that we were unprepared for. BRING IT ON!!! And thanks for the smokes. Remember for next time - I prefer Marlboro Mediums, Joe smokes Camel Lights, Mark likes Philly Blunts and Jon, well... everyone knows Jon smokes crack. When he and Mark met in rehab, that's what he was in for, so no crack for the keyboard player. The last thing we need is a relapse. Sorry to everyone who was waiting on line outside and missed the beginning of our set! We'll make it up to you, promise.
